🎮 WarRock – Time to Take Action Against Hackers & Unfair Play! 😡
Dear Admins,
I’ve been playing WarRock for years, and it’s honestly frustrating to see how badly the game is suffering because of hackers and exploiters. Almost every match now has players using aimbots, wallhacks, or lag switches — and it completely kills the fun for genuine players who just want to enjoy the game.
We report, we record, we complain — but it feels like nothing is really changing. The same cheaters keep coming back, and honest players are the ones who end up quitting out of frustration.
Here’s a simple suggestion:
Create an official WarRock Discord server (like many other games have) where players can directly report hackers or cheaters in real time. If an admin or moderator is online, they could quickly verify and take action. It would bring the community and developers closer and help maintain fairness instantly rather than waiting for ticket responses.
Also, please bring back or integrate a strong anti-cheat system like PunkBuster. It used to make a huge difference — we need something that can actively detect and prevent:
- Aimbots / Wallhacks
- Lag switches
- Players deliberately lagging or abusing the connection to win
WarRock still has a loyal and passionate community. We just want a fair, competitive, and clean gaming environment again. Please, developers — listen to the community before the real players give up for good.

Official WarRock Discord? Like this one which exists since 2017?
Great - how many admins are online? or do they even come and check whats happening in game ? is it even active ? we had an update today and the very next hour we had hackers, hacking in clan war// I see month on month there is a list of players who are banned for various reasons? but has it stopped? NO - at least there should be a hardware ban so that they cannot come back. its so frustrating.. 🤨
they will just use a hardware spoofer. It will never be able to prevent hacks in WR. You can just increase the speed of them getting caught and get banned.
This is a wonderful article. It should definitely not be ignored, and a swift decision should be made and implemented. Respect for your effort, my friend.
Thanks.
Hi,
A direct channel to report hackers on-site. For example, it could be called #hack-alert.
This requires a lot of commitment and I understand that it would be quite difficult because no one is there 24/7 to quickly log in and block the cheater.
Thanks.
If no one's watching the match, they shouldn't just sit idly by. They should shut down the game too. The admin has filled the game with cheaters. Cheaters never punish their own friends. Didn't you see the tournament room? Two stars were flying. It was obvious they were flying. What are you complaining about? What happens if you report this guy and he doesn't get punished? It's obvious the VIP is cheating. Or maybe the admin has a father.
Don't engage in idle chatter by asking for a complaint ticket.
We demand punishment for cheaters interested in the game and regulations regarding our permanent belongings.
WarRock war schon vor Jahren am ende, aber jetzt ist richtig ende im Gelände...
Very soon... that's all we'll say.
PunkBuster was honestly never a great anti-cheat system for wr. It was outdated, slow, and really easy to bypass. Cheaters always found ways around it, and PunkBuster barely kept up with new hacks. Most of the time it detected the same old cheats, but anything newer or slightly modified went straight through without any problem.
On top of that, PunkBuster needed constant updates to stay effective, and wr simply didn’t get those updates anymore. So over time it became more of a “cosmetic” anti-cheat — something that was technically there, but didn’t actually protect the game.
That’s why the amount of cheaters never really went down. PunkBuster just wasn’t strong enough for a game like wr, especially when the support behind it got weaker and weaker.
I really don’t get why some players still think PunkBuster was good. I think it’s simply because the player base back then was huge. When you look at the old days of wr, there were tens of thousands of players online at the same time. So of course it felt like there were fewer cheaters.
If you have that many people playing, the few hundred hackers that existed just didn’t stand out as much.
Today it’s a completely different story: only a small number of players are left, and a few hackers on top of that. With such low numbers, every cheater becomes super noticeable.
And let’s be honest — after more than a decade of wr, some players still struggle, so it’s easy for them to think everyone who plays better must be cheating…xd
