[4Story]Announcement on New Server Launch
Dear Adventurers of Iveria,
This is probably the most important announcement that has ever been made so far with our service since we launched the current server on 11/18(CET).
From the very beginning of the server launch, many of you have already dived into our community and became a part of it yourself. No matter whether or not you pre-registered for the server, or even if you had joined as a newcomer later on, the server has been important for all of you and it has been an honour for us to run this server. With your support and dedication, we have been able to release some of the most successful patches, open PvP contents such as: Battle Arena, improved the game including the merits shop, Orc and Mardook’s rewards, or even fix many of the bugs that might have negatively affected your gameplay of which examples include: issues on the invisibility, skills, portals and so on.
Yet, due to significant damages that none of us have expected at all that permanently affect the in-game economic balance such as: abusable events (Crystal Games, Welcome to Craxion Event, Loyal User Event), the players who abused those events even though they were fully aware of the severity of such activities, or even due to those cheating players who have unfairly taken advantage of unacceptable hack programs, destroying the fair gameplay environment for you all, our server has come to face the bitter reality that it has lost its environment safe enough for fair players like you. Nonetheless, it has always been our responsibility to secure the server and maintain the comfortable, safe environment for you and we acknowledge that we were not successful in this. This is the time for us to express our deep apology to you.
However, challenges can turn into opportunities if we accept them to improve ourselves and that is what we are going to do.
With all the hardships that we have overcome, today we are here to make an announcement:
The new server will be a new big chapter in the history of 4Story with the goal of making the game ‘great again’.
<New Server>
The level caps for both players and pets, the major and minor bugs that have negatively affected your gameplay, the unfairly high-set stats of the items (weapons, armours, jewels etc.), the existence of disruptive items (Teleport Scroll, Summon Scroll etc.) will have been solved and modified from the very beginning.
The new server will be progressively improved based on the feedback from the adventurers.
More information will be provided to you in the following weeks as we expect constant updates to come in the progress. Meanwhile, if you have any feedback or suggestions to share to contribute to our service, please feel free to do so. In addition, from time to time, for certain important parts of the service subject to change, we will open a new discord channel #open_poll and run open polls to take your feedback/decisions into account!
Please note that all the social media platforms such as: the official 4Story Discord Channel, Facebook, Forum, etc. will be continuously used for the community.
<Current Server>
The current server will be reset according to our schedule and it will be announced exactly when it will be (please stay with us for more information on this).
However, we would like to handle the current server with 3 major plans.
- Try Cash Shop for free: All FSC spent since 01 March (CET) will be refunded to you as FSC. This means that even if you charge FSC and spend it to purchase cash shop items, every FSC is promised to be returned to you. This decision has been made in the hope that it would be a great opportunity for everyone of you to try all the cash shop items which you have always wanted to use. Feel free to charge FSC and buy whatever you want.
- Compensation Event: Of course, if the server is subject to the reset process, many of you may start asking the following question: 'Then what would happen to all the investments and dedication I've made up until now?'. To fulfill the needs and make it fair, we will start the Compensation Event. This event is geared towards acknowledging your great contributions that you have made to your game and your characters. We are in the process of planning and finalizing this Compensation Event as it is a very important portion of the huge transition. More detailed information will be provided once the plan is finalized.
- Bug Hunt Event: Through participating in this event, you will not only be given with the reward but also support us in improving 4Story and our upcoming New Server.
