Investigating Aquarius
I’ve reached a bit of an impasse on the Stargazer quest chain (discover all 12 Zodiac constellations) and I’m wondering if I’ve missed something. I’ve been trying to get the quest for four weeks or more
I’ve currently done 10 of 12, and the next one I need is Aquarius. I’ve been trying to pull the quest Investigating Aquarius from Lisbon or Seville, and so far have burned many dozens of QMPs over several visits to each (using the “use 10 option”), and most recently a bunch of SQMPs.
I’ve completed the prerequisites (Capricorn and Fomalhaut) and I’ve done many quests since then in various locations. I’ve made extensive use of the excellent ivryo chain list, and have triple checked that I’ve done everything except Aquarius and Pisces.
In the meantime I’ve completed the Neptune chain to get the last but one Recognition discovery, and completed 55 theses from Boston so I can finally work on Astronomers Research 1 to get the final Recognition.
I’ve completed all the astronomy quests I can pull in all the European and North African ports.
I really don’t know what else to try to get this quest. There must be some other undocumented requirement that I’m missing.

And you have Greek Language skill active , or a world reader?
Hmm, no, but I’m sure I did try that when it was suggested to me on FB. I will certainly try again next time I attempt.
It's an interesting point though. I’ve not previously noticed the need to have a language skill active to pull a quest, is it a specific requirement for this quest or just one of the things you try if you have difficulty pulling a given quest? I’ve often pulled other quests where the language element is “red”.
Well, finally I got it.
I switched to my Aide with Greek, and equipped the Mythical Era title.
I tried 9 “Take quest by destination” selecting Atlantic Ocean, and got “No quests found” each time.
BUT I always check which quests were returned after each failure, and on the 9th try the Aquarius quest came up!
This means that for some reason it doesn’t get picked up in a “Quest by Destination” search even though the final discovery is in Central Atlantic.
Thanks for the tip about language.
