Hello WarRock Community and Dev Team,
I would like to raise several concerns regarding current gameplay balance. As a long-time FPS player, I believe WarRock should focus on skill-based mechanics rather than pay-to-win elements. Since this is an FPS game — not a gacha game — balance and fairness should always come first.
1️⃣ Emote Usage Cooldown (To Prevent Exploitation)
Emotes are fun and add personality to the game. However, they are currently being abused in ways that disrupt fair gameplay.
Suggestion:
- Implement a 1–2 minute cooldown before a player can use an emote again.
- This prevents spam, abuse, and unintended mechanics exploitation.
Emotes should remain cosmetic and expressive — not tactical tools.
2️⃣ Bomb Damage & AOE Nerf
The current bomb damage and area-of-effect feel excessive, especially considering the changes in gameplay over time.
Issues:
- Even players with 20+ defense can be eliminated in one hit.
- AOE radius feels too punishing in competitive situations.
- Bombs overpower positioning and strategy.
Suggestion:
- Reduce bomb base damage.
- Slightly reduce AOE radius.
- Scale damage based on distance from explosion center.
Bombs should reward smart placement, not guarantee instant kills regardless of defense.
3️⃣ Medic Class Balance
Medic currently feels unbalanced compared to Assault and other classes.
Suggestion:
- Adjust Medic to match the balance of Assault and other core roles.
- Ensure Medic provides utility without dominating gunfights.
- Maintain role identity while avoiding power creep.
Each class should have strengths and weaknesses — not a clear superior pick.
4️⃣ Overpowered Guns
Some premium or high-tier weapons significantly outperform standard/free-to-play options.
Suggestion:
- Rebalance OP weapons to align with base weapon performance.
- Ensure time-to-kill differences are skill-based, not wallet-based.
In an FPS, aim, positioning, and decision-making should determine outcomes — not weapon tier.
5️⃣ Skins & Cosmetics Should Be Design Only
Cosmetics should not provide:
- Extra damage
- Stat boosts
- Hidden gameplay advantages
Skins should remain visual enhancements only.
Adding stat advantages to cosmetics creates unfair conditions for free-to-play players and damages competitive integrity.
Final Thoughts
WarRock has strong potential as a competitive FPS, but balance must prioritize fairness over monetization mechanics. Players stay longer when they feel the game is skill-based and rewarding — not pay-to-win.
Let’s keep WarRock competitive, fair, and true to FPS fundamentals.
Thank you for considering these suggestions.
