Returning Player from 15 Years Ago

edited March 2 in English

Hi everyone,

I used to play War Rock about 15 years ago, when the game first came out and it was much more accessible and casual. Back then I played almost every day, had a high rank, and considered myself a very good player.

My previous nickname was Tucker, but I was not able to recover my old account.

I recently came back and I was very surprised by how complex the game has become. It is now very difficult to play solo, as many players are coordinated in clans and each member clearly knows exactly what to do. There are very organized players.

I want to believe that this difference comes from organization and experience, not from cheating. However, right now it is very hard for me to play — in many matches I can barely leave my spawn.

My old PC, the one I used to play on, broke down and I lost access to that account. Also, the game now belongs to a different company.

I think the game should have difficulty levels or some kind of system to help new or returning players. It would also be great to be able to play against the computer and not only against online players, in order to practice. But of course, in such an old game with a much smaller community, maybe it’s hard to expect more.

I also played the Korean version in the past, and it was amazing how many players there were. There were so many people playing, and the experience felt completely different.

I especially like the maps Ohara and Cantumira, and I really enjoy playing with tanks.

Thanks.

  • It's a shame you couldn't recover your old account.

I'm glad you're back in the game. A lot has changed over the years, and there are new players too.

I've been playing alone since the beta. I don't have any close relationships or friendships with any other players. I think it's unnecessary.

I hope you have a good time and enjoy yourself.

    Sincerely.
