[NOTICE] VPN Usage (ExitLag, WTFast, VPNs, and similar connection-routing tools)
Hello BlackShot Global Mercs,
We would like to clarify previous communication regarding the use of ExitLag, WTFast, VPNs, and similar connection-routing tools.
These programs are not automatically prohibited simply because they are used. Players may use ExitLag, WTFast, or similar tools at their own risk if they help improve connection stability or reduce ping-related issues.
However, please be aware of the following:
- These tools may route multiple users through shared or masked IP addresses.
- Because bad actors sometimes use similar methods to hide or alter their connection information, there may be cases where legitimate users are mistakenly associated with suspicious activity (Hacking, etc.).
- We will not be able to provide support in cases of Account Recovery, Email Changes, etc. because we cannot correctly verify account ownership.
- For this reason, these programs are used at your own risk.
To be absolutely clear:
- Using ExitLag, WTFast, or similar tools by itself is not a bannable offense.
- These tools are not treated the same as cheats or hacks simply for being installed or used.
- However, abusing these tools in a way that manipulates gameplay, connection behavior, or creates an unfair advantage will be treated as lag switching / network abuse.
If a player is found to be abusing ExitLag, WTFast, VPNs, or similar programs for unfair gameplay purposes, that violation may result in a permanent ban.
Our official position is therefore as follows:
- You may use ExitLag, WTFast, VPNs, or similar connection tools at your own risk if they help improve your connection. However, abusing these tools for lag switching, network manipulation, or any unfair gameplay advantage is strictly prohibited and may result in a permanent ban and we also reserve the right to deny requests for account recovery or email changes.
We hope this clears up the confusion and helps players better understand the distinction between normal connection-routing use and actual abuse.
