Cant put gold in trade window.

Hi all, i was wandering if anyone could help? I tried today to buy a male deco op1 through the trade window, however i could not put gold in my side of the trade.... when i tried to input the numbers, it kept showing 000's only.

I dont know what i am doing wrong, its been a while since i played.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

    You'll need to click the gold in your character's bags, not in the trade window. Then you can enter an actual number. I don't know why it's configured this way, because I made the same mistake myself early on.
