Ventus

Hello,

As a long-time player who has been part of the game since the very beginning, I would like to share a suggestion that I truly believe could help achieve something we all hope for — bringing back a significant number of players and strengthening the server population.

First of all, I completely understand that PapayaPlay has operational and maintenance costs. It is normal and expected that the server requires financial support from players. Monetization itself is not the issue — balance is.

With the launch of the new Ventus server, this is the perfect moment to make adjustments that could positively impact the long-term health of the game.

Currently, the power gap between UWC ships and regular ships is too large. It is perfectly reasonable that UWC ships can be used at lower levels — that is a fair and attractive benefit. However, it becomes problematic when UWC ships significantly outperform regular ships in every aspect, even when they share the same name. This creates a feeling that progression through gameplay alone cannot compete.

Here are my suggestions:

  1. UWC ships should remain usable at lower levels, but their overall performance should only be slightly better than regular versions — not overwhelmingly superior.
  2. UWC cannons should either be removed or significantly adjusted in power, as they heavily impact PvP balance.
  3. Ship modification limits could be standardized — for example, a maximum of 8/8 for UWC ships, and a slightly lower cap for non-UWC ships, to maintain fairness while preserving incentives.

The goal is not to remove advantages for paying players, but to reduce the extreme performance gap. If premium content offers convenience and slight advantages rather than dominance, more players will stay, compete, and invest long-term.

A balanced server will always generate more sustainable revenue than one where the gap discourages competitive and returning players.

This suggestion comes from a place of support and a genuine desire to see Ventus succeed and grow.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
